Silvia Mera

Program Director


Silvia helps shape, develop, and promote the Mekong Club’s activities and projects. Her roles and responsibilities include project management, training, coordinating the Mekong Club association of businesses, supervising and mentoring interns, and advocating for the cause of ending modern slavery. She works directly with multinational corporations from the manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and banking sectors to support and advise them on their anti-trafficking policies and practices. Silvia is involved in regional anti-trafficking projects and delivers training and presentations on the topic both in Asia and overseas.

From 2011 to 2015, Silvia worked in business development and supply chain management, coordinating vendors and business opportunities in Southeast Asia for an Italian fashion brand. Silvia holds a master’s degree with honours in international relations, a bachelor’s degree with honours in political science from LUISS University (Rome), a post-graduate master in international trading from the Italian Trade Agency and an executive certificate in corporate social responsibility from the University of Hong Kong.
