A fishing vessel near a Cambodia island sank carrying 41 Chinese and 2 Cambodian crew members. At least 3 dead, with 8 crew members missing. The tragedy sheds light to the recent reports of victims lured to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand into illegal labour. Experts suggest that Cambodia was chosen by criminal rings, possibly due to existing law enforcement loopholes and that the recent reports of human trafficking calls for greater collaboration between the regions.
