According to a report released by UN, there is coerced labour among Uyghurs, Kazakhs and other ethnic groups in China’s Xinjiang and Tibet. A two state-mandated system subjected local people to forced labour, where minorities are detained and subjected to work place in vocational centres and rural labourers are transferred to secondary or tertiary sector work.
