IOM, EU, and Sweden join forces with a USD 12 million program, MBHR, to safeguard migrant workers’ rights in Asia. The initiative targets key destinations in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, addressing exploitation, unsafe conditions, and unethical practices. With 85.6 million migrants in the region, the program empowers them to contribute economically to their home and host nations. By involving the private sector, the program strives to establish secure migration pathways, combat modern slavery, and advocate responsible employment. Click here for more information on this groundbreaking initiative.
