Uncover the hidden reality of human trafficking with compelling evidence from the largest dataset on the subject – IOM’s Counter-Trafficking Data Collaborative. While the total number of detected victims declined in 2020, likely due to the pandemic, the data hints trafficking may be moving underground. Alarmingly, profiles show over half of victims are under 26, and nearly a quarter are children. As methods improve, more men and boys are also being identified as vulnerable.
