Designed for universities across East and Southeast Asia, this free public training on Human Trafficking in Scam Centers aims to raise awareness of the deceptive methods used to recruit recent graduates into scam operations. Students and faculty will gain valuable insights into identifying recruitment scams, safeguarding their personal and professional well-being, and implementing effective strategies to avoid falling victim to fraudulent job offers.

The program features an online training session titled ‘Human Trafficking in Scam Centers and Universities,’ scheduled for October 23 at 16h00 GMT+8. This 60-minute session will feature a Q&A portion and will be led by Matthew Friedman, a renowned expert on modern slavery with over 35 years of experience.

Mr. Friedman has worked for USAID and the United Nations in over 40 countries. Additionally, he advises governments, banks, and corporations on eliminating modern slavery and is the author of 14 books.
